Vice President/Business Development
Barbara is responsible for developing and maintaining
relationships with new and existing clients. She identifies established businesses who are seeking growth and expansion as well as start-up companies in need of business development, website development, strategic planning, social media and marketing through the expertise of CMG’s management team.
Barbara brings more than twenty five years of experience in business development , strategic planning and sales and marketing expertise. She has developed and grown many organizations through her executive positions , including CEO of the National Technology and Education Partnership and COO of the Electronics Industry Alliance, both located in Washington DC, the Executive Director of the Foundation and Performing Arts Center of Sussex College Community College, to most recently, General Manager of Lake Mohawk Country Club and Director of Membership and Event Sales at Lake Mohawk Golf Club.
She brings years of experience to CMG through her networks throughout the State to assist companies in realizing their growth potential.
Barbara has been active in Community Affairs throughout her career working with the Boy Scouts of America, Literacy Volunteers of New Jersey, Sussex County Arts and Heritage Council , to name a few.
Barbara holds an MBA from Farleigh Dickenson University and a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University.
Devender is the lifesaver of CMG’s website development and design group! He is a very talented developer who can handle any type of customization. If our team hits a road block, he’s the one we turn to—and our clients see the benefits! Not only does Devender handle web design and development, he is our chief app development. He ensures that mobile apps are useful, responsive, and functional, without being too complicated for users. His skill in development and app development make him a very valuable member of the team.
SEO/Google Ranking Specialist
Reena Tanna is a Project Manager and SEO/Google Ranking Specialist at Contemporary Media Group. She is highly skilled in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Google Analytics, helping our clients see the results of our marketing, networking, social media, and web design efforts. She supervises a small team of similar SEO and ranking experts to help your page show up first in web search results. Passion for new technology and industry has always been important to Reena. She believes that learning is the essence to her success, and she hopes to share this learning with the clients at CMG. She brings along eight years of experience and demonstrated success working Brand Management and Digital Marketing.
Reena has earned her Bachelor’s degree in Media Management and is a Certified Digital Marketer. Her formal education and certification experience helps to ensure that CMG is using the best tools for media and digital marketing. If your brand needs some help, Reena can show off its best side!

Kamal excels at project management and development, and is usually the go-to designer at CMG for creating new company websites. She integrates design elements and functionality with flawless precision, ensuring a beautiful, useful website. In addition, she is change of most of the website maintenance for CMG clients, including updating website components, adding new content to reflect business growth or new services, and ensuring that old and new content flow together seamlessly.
Kamal earned her Master’s of Science in Information Technologies and brings over 10 years of experience as a web developer and 5 as a project manager. Her skills with WordPress, PHP, MySQUL, Front End Development, HTML5, CSS3, C++, Java, and Adobe Photoshop make her a versatile and adaptable member of the team. She makes it her mission to see her clients’ businesses grow and succeed!
As the Principal of Contemporary Media Group, Doreen is responsible for bringing together all of the vital elements of marketing and design. She supports CMG’s global customer base by executing the highest levels of customer service. She brings years of experience with graphic design, marketing strategies, social network integration, and web and mobile app usability, combining these experiences with a drive to succeed. She coordinates the efforts of the CMG team and brings client goals to life.
Doreen has decades of experience creating professional visual communication and educational materials. She combines these skills with hands-on-design skills, strong planning, and a proven command of budgeting, scheduling, and personnel management to lead the company with strength and motivation. As Creative Director, her keen eye for design ensures that all marketing materials are visually appealing and distinctive for clients.
Prior to founding Contemporary Media Group, Doreen worked for several advertising and publishing firms. For 14 years, she held the position of Vice President of Production and Manufacturing at People’s Education, an educational textbook company. She is an active member of LeTip International, Sussex Chamber of Commerce, and Sussex County Community College and maintains strong professional relationships within the community.
Doreen holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Fordham University and a Master of Science in International Marketing with a minor in Media Art.
Wasim is the very talented head designer at Contemporary Media Group. He is in charge of all our web design, and creates the design for our client’s websites as well as assisting on other design tasks. He makes sure that the design isn’t just attractive and functional, but that it reflects the nature and style of the client we are designing for. Wasim isn’t just creative, he is also highly attentive to detail, making sure that your web design looks perfect on multiple operating systems and all sorts of devices so you can reach your clients wherever they are.
Reena does double duty at CMG, handling both social media and website changes as well as administrative work! Her work for clients keeps social media profiles and websites up to date, as good customer engagement requires regular interaction. By ensuring that social media accounts are updated and replied to and making regular updates and changes to websites to showcase new services or manage new changes in technology better, she keeps everyone at the top of their game.
Reena’s administrative work at CMG is just as important—behind the scenes, she is the one who handles the accounting, bookkeeping, records, and everything else that goes behind running a business. Reena makes sure that our web designers, programmers, and the rest of the creative team can focus on what they do best, while she helps to keep the business running smoothly.
Sukhwinder is a skilled project manager and developer who will ensure that any client project is handled accurately, on time, and to the highest standards of quality. He excels at website customization and prides himself on being able to turn a client’s website into exactly what they want and need to do business easier. He ensures that websites are meeting or exceeding best web design practices and attends closely to the user experience.
Sukhwinder earned his Master’s of Science in Information Technologies and brings over 10 years as a web developer and 5 as a project manager. His skill with WordPress, PHP, MySQL, front end development, HTML5, CSS3, C, C++, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator makes him a diverse member of the team. No matter how stressful the job is, he handles tasks with ease and grace, providing a user-friendly result at the end.
Alicia helps CMG’s clients share their business and services with the community through clear, engaging copy writing services. Effective website copy can drive traffic and boost SEO, and Alicia provides copy for new websites and regular updates, ensuring that your website will reach its intended audience. Alicia generates relevant, interesting content for blogs and social media, creating clear calls of actions that get customers to contact their local business. Press releases, e-blasts, and company newsletters are easy when you hire a marketing team with a skilled copywriter and editor on board!
Alicia earned her BA from the University of Michigan, and Master’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Denver.
Project Manager/Digital Services
Taylor focuses her skills on client relationships, ensuring that social media accounts are well-managed, filled with useful information and calls to action, and engaging with customers and other businesses on socials. She is a key component of ensuring that website changes are made in a timely and logical fashion, and ensuring that any changes made to our clients’ websites are functional, attractive, and easy for users to access. She contributes to CMG’s graphic design team and is skilled in logo design.
Director of Sales & Marketing
Ann Marie handles the sales and marketing arm of CMG. She ensures that CMG’s own marketing efforts reach clients, and helps our clients to develop effective sales and marketing promotions to boost business and increase customer loyalty.
Through creative sales initiatives, effective marketing tools, and strategic planning for the future and brand of the firms that CMG works with, Anne Marie has helped to build businesses stronger and reach more customers.
Jasmine is responsible for defining and leading the marketing direction of CMG’s subsidiaries and ensuring that the group’s portfolio supports our strategic directions. She drives the business development team and leads the digital media-marketing concept. As a marketing professional, Jasmine has achieved significant return on investment through branding and definition efforts—up to 45% market share for some of her most successful campaigns. Her flair for marketing builds alliances and delivers exceptional quality to the most loyal consumer markets.
Jasmine brings diverse cultural experience and creativity to CMG. She contributes a background in Marketing and Strategic Management as well as experience in Publishing, Higher Education, Consulting and Financial Services. Jasmine has a passion for protecting the environment and is a supporter of green strategies and renewable energies in publishing. In addition to working at CMG, Jasmine is a consultant to the Girl Scouts of America, supporting her community and helping girls reach their potential.
Jasmine has an MBA from the University of New Orleans and a Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management from the University of Technology, Jamaica.
